F1: Our focus text is We`re Going on a Bear Hunt!
We started reading a new book today in F2, called Oliver`s Vegetables, by Vivian French. After we read the story and talked about the vegetables that Oliver eats, we looked at some real-life vegetables! We talked about how they looked, felt, and smelt as we passed them around the circle. 🥕🥔
Marshland’s school council enjoyed initiating the planting of the tree celebrating the life of David Attenborough who celebrated his 100th birthday today 💙

In french this week, year 4 have been learning about jungle animals and how to describe them, we listened to a story and the children had fun joining in as the different animals 🦒🌟🇫🇷
Year 5 had a Mini Police today. This weeks lesson was all about anti-social behaviour, we learned how to keep ourselves safe and how to behave in our community.
F2 have been listening to and retelling the story The Little Red Hen this week. We started off the week by baking bread, just like The Little Red Hen does in the story - although we all helped each other and made our bread as a team! 🍞🍞
This week in Rising 3`s we have been doing 5 little ducks, how clever are they finger counting 😃
