In maths F1 have been exploring shoes, buttons and shapes to find ones that match. They have amazed Mrs Jowitt with their explanations as to how they know the items match/don't match!
Another Tuneful Chatter adventure for Foundation 1! This week we made a nest for the Owl Babies.
French day was a huge success in Year 3 🇫🇷 We played snakes and ladders, practised numbers and played charades like real mimes 🤗 We also produced amazing fact files about France 🧑🏼🎨🥖🥐🧀

Year 3 and 4 played Snakes and Ladders during French Day. Year 4 taught Year 3 the names of the days of the week. Bon travail a tous 🇫🇷
Bonjour from Year 4 on French Day. We have made dice, coloured by numbers in French, made puppets and acted out The Three Little Pigs story for Years 1 and 2. They had chocolate crepes for breakfast too.
Foundation Stage have had a lovely morning, taking part in some activities for French Day. We have made collages of the French flag and learnt a couple of facts about France. We even tried some croissant at snack time! F2 learnt how to say hello in French too - Bonjour! 🇫🇷🥐
Today, Year 3 learned about The Revelation of the holy Qur’an 🙂 They really enjoyed playing ‘hot seat’ and asking prophet Muhammad questions.
Last week Year 4 worked hard and enjoyed lots of activities and learning including wearing yellow for World Mental Health Day, acting out their own parables in RE and making signs for around school in French.
Year 4 have been learning about the digestive system. Today they enjoyed making poo!
This week Year 3 children learned to research for a specific facts about prehistory 📝
